*The main story is written in second person.
*The game characters include Nacxia, Bai'e, Argenti, Robin, Aventurine, Dan Heng, the Trailblazer, Castorice, and March 7th.
*The Trailblazer can be Stelle or Caelus. All gendered references use Trailblazer or Little Raccoon instead, so you can substitute whichever you prefer.
Updates depend on fate. This is just for fun; I'll write whatever I dream up.
(August 26, 2025):
The Interastral Peace Corporation has just released a new romance game, Four-and-a-Half's Sweet Dream. It supports pursuing multiple routes at once, and the target characters are all real people from the real world. One of them is even Aventurine, one of the Ten Stonehearts.
One of the Nameless, who has saved several worlds, is the game's promotional ambassador.
With so much money poured into its development, the game received an enthusiastic response from players after launch, despite its steep initial price.
For example:
[Isn't this supposed to be a romance game? Why is there a life-sim mode?!]
[Why is the life-sim mode so hard? I walked a few steps and starved to death!]
[I can't take it! We were just about to kiss, so why is some gloomy creep peeking through the crack in the door?!]
[Argenti is so beautiful Argenti is so beautiful Argenti is so beautiful Argenti is so beautiful Argenti is so beautiful Argenti is so beautiful Argenti is so beautiful Argenti is so beautiful]
[I love the Director I love the Director I love the Director I love the Director I love the Director I love the Director I love the Director I love the Director]
...And plenty more comments like these. But the most common complaint was that the game's life-sim mode was too difficult.
You weren't actually a player of this game.
Although you were a game-guide blogger, you had started your blog to make money through livestreaming. This expensive game ran completely counter to your original goal of earning money.
But your inbox was full of recommendations from fans, and you were a blogger, after all.
Isn't blogger supposed to mean a master who loves everyone?
To show your fans some love, you gritted your teeth and splurged on the game. Without hesitation, you chose to pursue every route at once, secretly vowing to attract more viewers during your livestreams and earn back some of the cost.
Once you actually entered the game, you became completely determined to beat it.
After experiencing all kinds of deaths, from starving to death and working yourself to death to falling from a building while delirious, you threw your mouse.
After replacing it with a new one, you restarted the game.
Having reloaded the game countless times, you were now full of confidence and chose a single route. Pursuing a whole group of people was hard, but pursuing just one couldn't be that difficult!
Although some of the story events differed slightly from before as you worked through the single route, your progress wasn't affected.
But just as you raised your target's affection to 90 and prepared to confess, a character you'd barely interacted with suddenly sent you an invitation...
He confessed to you.
And your target saw the whole thing, causing their affection for you to drop.
