Lu Tinglan thought this was probably the most amusing thing he'd heard in centuries.
His interest in watching the show finally awakened. He immediately disguised himself as an injured wandering cultivator and managed to stay by Xie Junxing's side.
And so Lu Tinglan began his daily life of plucking duck feathers and selling ducks at a stall, while listening to Xie Junxing and the System talk past each other.
And so Lu Tinglan watched as Xie Junxing, with a straight face, used delicious duck meat to complete all sorts of ridiculous tasks, got revenge on the ungrateful sect that had once betrayed him, and conquered the three realms with ducks...
Xie Junxing was so wonderful that Lu Tinglan realized he had fallen for him.
He really wanted to ask the System if he still had a chance at that "scream with satisfaction" task from before.
