Forensic examiner Ji Lin'an accidentally stumbles into an escape game where lives are the stakes.
In one game after another, Ji Lin'an meets the lazy, irreverent Bai Yuansong, the quirky Jiang Nian'ai, and the gloomy yet kind Mu Zheyang. Through countless brushes with danger, the four support and uplift one another, growing into a family.
But for some reason, Ji Lin'an begins suffering frequent nightmares, as if they're guiding him toward a truth hidden a hundred years ago.

Main couple: male-male, with the uke as the viewpoint character. Forensic knowledge will be woven into the story; please feel free to point out any errors.
The plot and romance run side by side. I'll try to balance them, but the emotional development is relatively slow overall. When it's time for sweetness, I won't hold back.
Ensemble cast. Every member of the main group will have their moment to shine, with a dedicated game for each of them. The story won't focus only on the protagonist.
Almost all the game scenarios are original, with some inspired by real life.
The main pairing is a male-male couple who reunite after a breakup: an icy, beautiful forensic examiner uke × a laid-back little escape-room owner seme, who keeps chasing his wife. Happy ending.
The secondary pairing is a male-female couple with mutual unrequited feelings and a healing romance: a sunny dance teacher × a gloomy writer with no will to live. They find comfort in bittersweet love. Sad ending.
