Vernacular Version of "The First Case of Surprise"
The author of "The Surprise on the Case" (including "The Surprise on the Case at the First Moment" and "The Surprise on the Case at the Second Moment") is Ling Shuchu, a famous litterateur and novelist in the Ming Dynasty. Translator: Wenjie, a modern writer who translated many famous works Ling Huochu (1580-1644), whose courtesy name was Xuanfang and nicknamed Chucheng, was also named the Master of Kongguan.
