In a dream, I acquired an invisibility cloak and a broken sword. With them, I ranged across the world, flying alongside the Eastern Sage, Tang Sanzang and his disciples, Luo Yang, Zhu Yingtai, Maitreya Buddha, and all manner of immortals and mortals to rid the globe of evil and save humanity.

The Sequel to The Peach Blossom Fan 桃花扇后传
According to historical records, Li Xiangjun disappeared after the Qing army captured Nanjing, leaving a great deal unknown. Later, I consulted numerous unofficial histories and novels and pieced together some clues. It seems she wandered from place to place and died only after the Southern Ming fell. This story is neither wholly true nor wholly false. Take it simply as a legend.
