According to historical records, Li Xiangjun disappeared after the Qing army captured Nanjing, leaving a great deal unknown. Later, I consulted numerous unofficial histories and novels and pieced together some clues. It seems she wandered from place to place and died only after the Southern Ming fell. This story is neither wholly true nor wholly false. Take it simply as a legend.
