The 1970S and 1980S

The male lead serves in the military and doesn’t return home. The original owner is bullied and killed. The female lead transmigrates here and can earn money, and the children are sensible. The male lead returns intending to reap the rewards, but the female lead swiftly divorces him and takes the children away. She takes the college entrance exam and builds a career, then ends up with someone who shares her ideals. No pointless entanglement with the ex, just a clean break.
