I’m trying to find a novel but can’t remember the title. It’s set in the past, and the hero and heroine are in high school. The hero’s mother is the discipline director. The heroine’s friend goes out with her boyfriend, and the heroine takes her place in class and gets caught. The leads have a falling-out, and the hero acts like a little wife, begging her to forgive him and getting kissed.
