HP begs the protagonist (male or female) to join the Death Eaters. He is Voldemort's loyal subordinate, has no CP, is ambitious and has means, and took the opportunity to defeat Harry Potter in the final battle. After the Death Eaters won, his status in the wizarding world is second only to Voldemort.
The male protagonist is a Death Eater and follows the Dark Lord. The Dark Lord did not form cp, and in the end, Black won the battle at Hogwarts. Perfect fit. And both the protagonist and the Dark Lord are well written! The Dark Lord is not OOC and is feared every time he appears.
It's rare to see a heroine who doesn't change Voldemort's character but just follows him. The ending where Voldemort wins is quite interesting and novel.
This book is really, really good to read. The interaction between the protagonist and Voldemort is very comfortable to watch, and the protagonist is very powerful. But maybe the update of the new book is a bit slow, and I am a bit afraid of forgetting it in the corner. I don't like to keep it.
[Love] First of all, let me state that this is a book with cp [love] Looking at the big words of the topic above, this completely meets the requirements; but when I recommended the book, I found that the main question was that there was no cp. After thinking about it, this book is really good, and I rarely find such books that follow the resurrected Voldemort successfully, so I pushed it out; it does not completely meet the requirements of the topic, but it is still highly recommended [love]
