Looking for Urban Superpower Stories with No Useless Powers from the Start and No 'Assassinate the Genius' Tropes

I don't want the protagonist to be mocked by everyone from the start, awaken a trash ability, and then suddenly get a cheat power despite the ability having been described as trash, only to challenge everyone with, "Who dares call this ability trash?" I also don't want stories where they awaken an SSS-rank ability that's considered low-level, or where they awaken an SSS-rank ability and pretend to be weak out of fear of assassination.
