Although this novel is not what you said, for me, this novel is a masterpiece of the mecha genre. It belongs to the invincible genre. It is decisive in killing and overall it is not an intellectual improvement. The male protagonist has a very lovable personality. He is a blank slate but is at the top of the food chain.
