I really can't stand protagonists who get cheat powers and spend every day showing off. Fine, give them cheat powers, but they could at least keep a low profile and make their fortune quietly. The villain works so hard, only to get face-slapped by someone who never lifted a finger? It's bad enough getting crushed by people with cheat powers in real life. Do I really have to watch them show off in my face when I'm reading a novel, too?
