I'm tired of reading new fantasy novels. I kind of miss the authentic tradition of the past. There can be cheats, but they are not a system. You can be reborn, but you can't travel through time. If there is no heroine or only one heroine, it is best if the protagonist works hard alone and succeeds in the end.
The protagonist Ye Chen's "crooked" spiritual path made me grin from ear to ear the whole time~ He comes from a declining family in Qingye City, has mediocre qualifications, has neither heaven-defying blood nor an impressive background, but he always encounters strange adventures! In the face of powerful enemies, he relies not on force but on cheap words to make people angry; at the critical moment of life and death, he can always use unexpected tricks to avert danger, focusing on "playing cards that don't follow the routine" ~ The "serious training" that is common in fantasy is turned into a funny live show, with passion mixed with laughter, and occasionally a bit of heroism. It's so awesome to watch him step by step from the bottom to the "live king"! For readers who like relaxed fantasy and anti-routine plots, this book is really worth trying!
This fantasy novel is not about cultivating immortals better than cultivating immortals, but it travels through the five chaos of China and inherits the legacy of ancient times.
