These books are all fine, they are neither newbie nor intellectual. It feels like most horror novels these days all have the same plot: Grandpa dies at the beginning and becomes an immortal in the later stages. I like this kind of traditional supernatural, scary enough, unsystematic, and relatively interesting to watch. I'm still following the first one recently, and I've finished reading the next few. They should be above the overall level of horror novels and can be read.
