I read a quick transmigration story before. If I remember right, it had no couples, and both male and female Hosts transmigrated. In one arc, the Host became a little boy, helped his mother drive away her romantic rival, then excelled at school and devoted himself to building the country. It was set around the early years of the People's Republic of China, I think.
