It's not poisonous, not brainless, the male protagonist kills decisively, and the single female protagonist doesn't have a harem. Not only does the practice of magic power become stronger, but the author's perception of Tao is also integrated into it, combining enlightenment with Taoism and cultivation of immortality. Chapter excerpt: Virtue For these deep-sea behemoths, this sea area is their home. Isn't it the instinct of every life to hope that their home is not damaged? Isn't it the "virtue" given to them by nature? He used to think that such deep-sea behemoths were just low-level creatures, not even life, with complex thinking and logic. But it is their simple and low-level thinking logic that makes them just follow their own natural rules, whether it is hunting or protecting. In other words, they themselves follow natural virtues. Chen Yi thought about how he hated "virtue" for a period of time in his previous life. He believed that it was just a restraint and control of people formed by social needs. But as he gradually came into contact with Taoist classics, he discovered that such "virtue" cannot be called "virtue", but should be called "the virtue of humanity." Judging from the ever-changing nature of Confucianism, Confucianism can actually be regarded as the representative of "humanity thought." It is the development of mankind that has led to the rise of ideas like Confucianism. It was born in humanity and developed in response to changes in humanity. The real virtue should be "the virtue of the great road". The most common thing is that water is good for all things, and it is because of the nature of water itself that it can "benefit all things". Water only embodies its own existence, rather than deliberately following the rules. In Chen Yi's view, because of the need for humanity, a great ideological deception was born, which is to twist "the virtue of the great road" into "the virtue of humanity." A son is filial to his parents because he loves his parents, so he subconsciously considers his parents' behavior, and doing things that are beneficial to his parents is called "filial piety." If the parents do not love the son, so that the son does not love the parents, then the son still being filial to his parents cannot be called a virtue, because this is only what he has to do under humane circumstances. In fact, the sages were not ignorant of the difference between "virtue" and "rules", such as Mencius' "nature is inherently good". Being able to put forward this opinion proves that Mencius attempted to turn "rules" into something that originally existed, which would also become "virtue". However, driven by human nature, people hope and need people with "virtue", but there is no difference between "virtue" and "rules" in their behavior, so over time "virtue" will be bound to "rules". Whether it is ideological or practical needs, it is like "promoting filial piety and integrity." And if Chen Yi only understood the difference through thinking before, then the feeling of the deep sea monster made him truly understand the "behavior". From then on, he became even more carefree. [Thank you Chen Yi.]
