Would you like to try this book? No system. In 1947, the protagonist joined the army to make a living. In 1950, he changed his career and returned to Beijing. He was invited to attend Haizi's family banquet and volunteered to take on a big job. After reading the introduction, it's pretty cool, and the characterization of Siheyuan is quite novel.
