I have read several books about the Ming Dynasty. Overall, the writing style is excellent, the historical knowledge is profound, and the character sculptures are also very good. However, there are a few shortcomings that seem to be consistent, including too much explanation and deliberate plotting. Do you have any better recommendations?

🔥This book is so full of surprises that I can't put it down. I highly recommend it! The male protagonist is Zhu Xiongying, grandson of the Ming Dynasty Emperor, who has come back from the dead and has a system of one emperor through the ages. They killed Lu and Zhu Yunwen, and together with Empress Ma and the nobles of Huaixi, they forced Zhu Yuanzhang into the palace. After that, he fought in all directions and sealed the wolf as his Xu!
