After Sending the Wrong Red Apricot Hat, the Icy CEO Went Crazy

Xu Shinian, an unlucky college student working a part-time delivery gig, accepts a bizarre errand: storm into a Michelin-starred restaurant, put a green hat on a cheating scumbag, and read him a breakup letter in front of everyone.

She puts on sunglasses and a mask, charges into the private room, and unloads on the broad-shouldered figure with all she's got. The green hat lands perfectly in place.

The whole room falls silent.

The man who turns around isn't some scumbag ex. He's Qin Yanzhen, head of the Qin Group, in the middle of negotiating a hundred-billion-yuan international merger.

His negotiating partner storms off, and a project worth a hundred billion nearly falls through.

Xu Shinian flees on shaky legs, thinking she can put it behind her by changing her name and identity.

Three days later, Qin Yanzhen shows up at the rental apartment she shares with roommates and slaps down an exorbitantly priced personal assistant contract. "How do you plan to compensate me for the hundred-billion-yuan loss?"

From then on, Xu Shinian becomes the icy CEO's personal gofer. She serves tea, runs errands, and takes the blame, but gradually notices that the way this cold-faced king of hell looks at her is becoming increasingly dangerous.

He pins her against his desk, his voice low. "I've thought of the perfect way for you to repay me for that green hat."

Xu Shinian panics. Isn't that interest rate a little too high?
