Reborn After Breaking Off the Engagement, I Was Captured by the Mad Hostage Instead

Reborn, Huo Siyanqian, the most outrageously spoiled and tyrannical princess in Great Liang, did the first thing she could think of: tear the gilded marriage contract she'd just begged for to shreds.

In her previous life, she had been blind. She took the sickly hostage prince sent from Qi for a pet, seized him by force, and humiliated him for three whole years.

In return, he led his iron cavalry to raze the imperial city, chained her to the dragon throne, and left her to die in the flames!

This time, Huo Siyanqian had finally come to her senses.

What handsome man? He was the crown prince of an enemy kingdom, a ruthless living hellion who commanded a shadow network spanning the land!

She prepared gold and travel documents overnight, then backed away as fast as she could. "You can't force a melon to be sweet. I'm tired of you, Your Highness. You can go!"

Not only that, she was going to build a career and make a fortune, enjoy good food and wine with her childhood friend, the young marquis, and stay as far away as possible from this walking disaster.

But to her utter surprise, the sickly hostage prince, who was said to be knocked over by a breeze, didn't leave. Instead, he locked the bridal chamber door behind him.

In the darkness, the man had just crushed a top assassin's neck with his bare hands. He turned, tore open his bright red wedding robe, and clasped his bloodstained hands around her waist, leaving her no room to resist.

He slowly tucked the pieces of the marriage contract into her trembling collar.

"Your Highness once said that I would belong to you as your captive for life, and that I had to die in your bed."

"Now you want to kick me aside to go see some other man... Did you really think you'd get away with that so easily?"

Under the man's increasingly possessive stare, Huo Siyanqian trembled.

This was bad. Why did the living hellion she'd planned to escape seem to be... clinging to her now?!
