After Reincarnating as a Suspect, the Junior Minister Becomes My Number One Dining Companion

Food-review blogger Shen Zhixia dies after falling while searching for ingredients in the mountains. When she opens her eyes, she's a suspect in a murder case at the Dali Temple!

Chained up and awaiting execution, she's completely at a loss.

But before the interrogation can even begin, she's acquitted and released outright...

The Dali Temple canteen needs a cook. It's a government job, meals included, a secure position for life!

Shen Zhixia signs up on the spot and gets to work, tossing her wok with flair!

Braised pork, crispy fried pork, hot noodles and pastries: she feeds a whole group of officials, who usually live on cold, dry rations, until they're completely won over.

Pei Jinghan, Assistant Minister of the Dali Temple, is known as the Ice-Faced King of Hell. He's ruthless when solving cases and utterly cold-hearted.

Everyone at the temple thinks he cares only about case files, but when mealtime comes, he's always the first to take a seat!

At first, he says only that the food suits his taste.

Later, solving cases is just an excuse. Eating is what he truly cares about!

She cooks up the comforts of home, while he cracks the world's strangest cases.

A spatula clashes with case files, and the Ice-Faced King of Hell falls for a hot, home-cooked meal!
