A Northeastern School Slacker, I'm an Oppa in Korea

[Campus Romance + Tough Northeastern Hero + Face-Slapping Comeback]

Zhao Tiezhu, a clueless Northeastern lad who scored 58 on his college entrance exam, gets kicked off to study in Korea by his pig-farming father.

As soon as he gets off the subway, he mistakes campus belle Lee Soo-yeon's "oppa" for "honey." His feet slip, his mouth bumps hers, and they kiss.

He doesn't speak Korean. All he has is his thick Northeastern accent and a translation app that works only when it feels like it.

But he's strong, handy, and honest, and once he decides someone is his wife, no one can chase him off.

He doesn't know that the Korean-Chinese man at the school cafeteria, the black car always parked outside the dorm, and the inexplicable "good luck" that appears whenever he's in danger all have something to do with his father, who raises pigs back in their village.

The school bully, Choi Jae-hyun, is Lee Soo-yeon's arranged fiancé. He picks fights with Tiezhu time and again, only to get knocked back by Tiezhu's fists and his inexplicable "good luck" every time.

But the Choi family is rich and influential, and the Lee family's business is in their hands. Her mother keeps pressuring her, and the engagement banquet draws closer by the day.

What chance does a foreign student who can't even speak Korean properly have of winning her from a chaebol heir?

How far can a beat-up bicycle take her?
