From the Start, I Left with Nothing, Took My Little One Clamming, and Became a Billionaire

The agricultural breeding patent Zhou Sheng spent seven years developing was stolen and claimed by his adopted younger cousin. Though he was the project's greatest contributor, Zhou Sheng was thrown out with nothing and saddled with its massive losses.

Disillusioned, he takes Tangtang, a four-year-old mute girl nobody wanted, back to an old seaside home on the verge of ruin to make a living through farming.

He only hopes for a quiet life, but Tangtang turns out to have an innate affinity for sensing the land.

She points at a barren mountain with her little finger, and transplanted endangered wild tea makes them rich overnight. She digs a hole in the beach, and beneath it lies a priceless piece of gold-threaded agarwood!

His ex-wife and adopted son in the city face total crop failure and near bankruptcy. They beg him on their knees for expert agricultural support. Leaning by the manor's sea-view gate, Zhou Sheng calmly waves them off: We don't have food to spare. There's only enough to feed the dog.
