In the French Concession of Republican-era Shanghai, the all-around talent Zhen Wangshu opens an unremarkable general store. In secret, she uses her feng shui skills to work as a merchant in the supernatural marketplace, selling rare spiritual goods to reclusive customers from all walks of life. Along the way, she uses her compass to expose enemy spy networks hidden among ordinary folk.
