Reborn: Hunting the Japanese in Northern Myanmar, I Will Burn the Mulberry Fields to Ashes

Shen Yanheng, a fallen air force hero from the Republic of China era, died defending his country in an aerial battle against Japan.

When he opened his eyes again, he had become Chen Mo, a victim on the verge of death in a modern-day telecom scam compound in northern Myanmar.

Barbed wire, watchtowers, tropical jungle, and dark rules that devour people whole.

Anyone else who ended up here would only want to escape.

But Shen Yanheng was different.

He would seize the stronghold, build an army, and establish a school.

He would turn this land of sin into an intelligence base dedicated to hunting down the far-right militarists of Japan.

He would never harm his own people, only hunt down the remnants of the Japanese invaders.

Learn Japanese, investigate identities, intercept merchant ships, track down evidence of crimes.

From the jungles of northern Myanmar, to the sea lanes of Southeast Asia, and then to Japan itself.

Ten years of planning, infiltrating on two fronts.

He would make those who rewrote history and glorified aggression pay in blood.

"In my previous life, I failed to defend our land. In this life, I'll bring the battlefield to their homeland."

While everyone else escapes northern Myanmar, I am building a base there to hunt the Japanese.

On their land, I hunt their people.
