You Asked for the Divorce. Why Are You Crying When I Marry Your Mortal Enemy?

Qin Ye, a legendary soldier who once defended the nation, retires and returns to Nanzhou. In worn camouflage pants, yellow rubber shoes, and with a five-yuan Hongmei cigarette dangling from his mouth, he looks every bit like a street thug.

All he wants is to quietly stay by the side of his childhood sweetheart and wife, Xia Chuwei. But only a year after their marriage, Xia Chuwei is found by her biological parents and transformed overnight into a rich heiress.

Now that she's risen to the top, Xia Chuwei begins to look down on Qin Ye for his "poor soldier" background. She refuses to share a bedroom with him and flirts with the spoiled heir of Nanzhou's most powerful family, even kissing him in public.

During a bank robbery, Qin Ye kills the robbers with four shots in three seconds, but the spoiled heir takes credit for it, while Xia Chuwei humiliates Qin Ye at every turn.

Qin Ye's heart finally dies. He decisively throws down the divorce papers, then turns around and marries Leng Ningshuang, the icy CEO and Xia Chuwei's deadly rival in business.

Only after the divorce does Xia Chuwei gradually realize something is wrong.

Who is this thug who can flip a gang boss with his bare hands and make the mayor bow to him?

And who is the legendary number-one heir of the capital's elite circle, the man said to control the lifeblood of the global economy and wield limitless power?!

When Qin Ye's true identity is revealed, Xia Chuwei kneels in the rain, consumed by regret...
