The Empress Is Addicted to Acting, and the Cold-Faced Tyrant Plots His Own Conquest

Transmigrated as the doomed abandoned consort in an old-school angst novel, Shang Zhiyu faces Xiao Wang, a cold-blooded tyrant who has just regained his senses.

The bad news: Xiao Wang has forgotten the three years when she cared for him while he was mentally impaired. He believes she took advantage of him and schemes to get close, and vows never to touch her.

The good news: Shang Zhiyu is a modern-day actress who has won two major awards, with acting skills second to none.

"Your Majesty used to hold me in your arms and feed me golden bird's nest soup. You said that without Zhaozhao, who could enjoy the realm stretching for thousands of miles with you..."

Shang Zhiyu's eyes reddened and every word dripped with sorrow. The moment she returned to her chambers, she flopped down like a salted fish, devoured braised pork knuckle, and slept for three days.

Xiao Wang sneered inwardly: "Nothing but lies. Shameless."

But his body went mad...

One look at her by the Taiye Pool sent his blood surging, and he got a nosebleed in front of everyone.

When he couldn't sleep, only crawling into her bed could bring him peace.

Even his hand seemed to move on its own, pinching her waist as he instinctively called her "Zhaozhao."

Then one day, the tyrant found a pile of portraits of Shang Zhiyu that he'd drawn himself in a hidden compartment. Overcome with jealousy, he pinned her firmly to the imperial bed, eyes bloodshot:

"Shang Zhiyu, the 'A Wang' you've been longing for day and night... is it him, or is it me?!"

Shang Zhiyu swallowed the pastry in her mouth and stared at him, baffled. "...Your Majesty, aren't you both the same person?"
