The paranormal is resurging, and the whole world is gripped by terror.
A TV station livestreams an exorcism at a century-old haunted building. The experts are scared out of their minds, and the entire rescue team is wiped out.
Just as the director despairs, Lin Yuan, a bit-part actor playing a villain, walks into the shot and smiles as he puts on his microphone. "Dear viewers, I'll take it from here."

He plays the "Ghost Lord," and red-clad vengeful ghosts kneel and call him boss;
He plays the "Mad Doctor," and a century-old corpse king lines up to take a number.
The whole internet curses him: Kick this scumbag out of the livestream!
Then, on the night the city is besieged by the paranormal, millions watch the "villain" on the livestream walk alone into a tide of ghosts. Step by step, he tramples the entire ghost city back into the human world.
At that moment, the whole internet fills the screen with tearful pleas: Boss, please don't wrap up your role!
