In the early days of the primordial age, a mysterious force spread between heaven and earth, giving rise to all living things.

One ancient human, whose spiritual energy was immense, transcended the Six Realms and evolved beyond them. He called himself the Realm Emperor and stood above the Six Realms. To save the world, he used his own spiritual energy to create a protective barrier, dividing the six peoples.
As his end drew near, the Realm Emperor scattered nine spirit swords, each bearing a fragment of his will, across the Six Realms. He hoped to find successors who could continue maintaining the barrier.
But this set off a huge upheaval across the Six Realms. The wielder of the Ninth Spirit Sword, the Dark Dragon Emperor, was killed, and by a twist of fate, his spirit entered the body of a human youth named Xiang Tianqi.
Meanwhile, in the darkness, a “hand” unlike the Realm Emperor’s was manipulating the nine sword wielders, quietly carrying out its own plan.
Bearing the Realm Emperor’s will, Xiang Tianqi will join his companions in breaking through the darkness and saving the Six Realms.
