Fishing Tycoon: Starting Over in a Norwegian Fishing Village

Also known as King of the Norwegian Sea and The Arctic Cod's Expedition

After transmigrating to 1950, Zheng Haisheng's only possession is the threadbare wool coat he borrowed.

Faced with a fisherman's widow and her starving little girl, he makes them one promise: they will have enough to eat.

With the tides in his heart and the fishing seasons at his fingertips, the very first net he casts catches a raging shoal of millions of herring.

While his fellow fishermen fight tooth and nail for a few øre, his catch is already being hauled by the ton into Bergen.

The great waves of history crash ashore, and the 1951 Trawler Act grants him immense power.

"He didn't just feed that widowed mother and her orphaned child. He fed half the shipyards in Norway!"

Far out in the ocean, the waves rise high. Wherever the Chinese iron fleet passes, the fish scatter.
