The 1970s: The Wicked Little Lucky Charm Goes Wild After Bonding with the Immortals

[Period] [Spirit Medium] [Madcap Fiction] [Sweet Romance] [Northeast China] [System]

Lin Xiaoqi transmigrates into the body of a notorious woman said to bring death to her husbands, a widow who has been married three times and widowed each time, and a spirit medium.

On her very first day, the four immortal clans listed on the original owner's altar, the Hu, Huang, Chang, and Mang, chase her down, demanding her life.

On top of that, there's a vicious Virtue System: she has to maintain her wicked persona and act crazy, or lose virtue points; summon the immortals to deal with paranormal incidents, or lose years of her life; and make her iron-willed, celibate husband, the head of the security department, fall in love with her, or get sent straight to a mental hospital.

But her husband, Gu Zheng, a materialist old cadre, chases her around every day with divorce papers in hand.

"Lin Xiaoqi! Get down off that roof!"

She performs spirit rituals in the housing compound while he cleans up the broken roof tiles behind her.

She lets a fox spirit possess her to put obnoxious relatives in their place, while his subordinate, Xiao Liu, runs after him shouting, "Chief! Your wife is on the roof again!"

From a wicked widow everyone hated, she goes completely off the rails and becomes the "Immortal Aunt Lin" the whole forestry farm can't live without.

And the man who once declared, "If she really can communicate with spirits, I'll eat a meal standing on my head"...

Three months later, he quietly gets up in the middle of the night to burn incense for her.

The Hu and Huang spirits may not cross Shanhai Pass, but nobody said they couldn't go crazy in the Great Northern Wilderness.
