[1v1 Extra Sweet + Comedy and Memes + Dating Show + Face-Slapping + Showbiz + Unhinged]

[Other people turn their anxiety inward. I take it out on everyone else.] [1v1 Extra Sweet, the more vicious, the sweeter]

Chi Zao transmigrates into a book, a badly written tragic romance that ended prematurely. She becomes the cannon-fodder female supporting character hated by the entire internet, who gets stabbed to death by a fan of the main couple in the finale!

The good news: She gets bound to a Jinx System. Her bad-mouthing always comes true, while her compliments come true in reverse.

The bad news: She gets stabbed and sent to the hospital the moment she arrives.

"Come on! Stab me! You're all going to have terrible luck tomorrow anyway."

The next day, the fan who stabbed her really does have terrible luck.

The whole internet: ??? She's so unhinged. I want to be a fan.

To earn enough survival points to rewrite her guaranteed-death ending, Chi Zao dives into the dating show Heart-Pounding Battle Royale.

Her scumbag ex-boyfriend puts on an act: "I never wear a wig."

Chi Zao: "Then your hair will fly off tonight."

That very night, a hairpiece flies straight into the camera. The story hits number one on the trending list.

The white-moonlight beauty fakes a faint and plays the victim: "I... I can't go on..."

Chi Zao: "Remember to leave your last words before you faint."

She faints on the spot and takes out the director's coffee machine as she falls.

The whole internet follows her prophecy livestream, and the Jinx Cult is born:

"Zao's words are golden. Whoever she says will fall, falls!"

There's only one exception.

Lu Ze, the quirky-minded commentator, listens to her prophecy and sits across from her at breakfast the next day, completely unharmed.

Chi Zao stares at him. You're suspicious.

Lu Ze opens his densely packed notebook of ways to dodge trouble, the tips of his ears turning red. "Mm. I believe you."
