When Gu Wanxing wakes, all she sees is an unfamiliar wasteland.
She comes from Earth, but has no idea why she has arrived in this sea of stars. There is no signal, no way home, and some force has even severed her memories of how to leave.
Deep in the ruins, she hears echoes from the past, and a name: the Astral Express.
So she sets off on a journey across the sea of stars.
Aboard the train racing toward the unknown, she meets the spirited March 7th, the reserved Dan Heng, the gentle Himeko, and the girl who will later change her fate: Stelle.
One is searching for her home, the other for her future.
When two stars from different worlds meet on their journey, they discover that the way home does not necessarily mean returning to the past.
Some people can become your new direction.
Some places can become your true home.
This time, they will travel together, beyond the stars.
