Pulan, a Dharma protector serving under Medicine Buddha, has lost his most important ritual implement: his prayer beads.
So he volunteered to descend to the mortal world and retrieve the beads, bringing their karmic ties to an end.
But does the scattering of the prayer beads necessarily mean they will be used for evil? Would reclaiming them also mean reclaiming the wishes of those who hold them?
