It's the Wasteland Now, Who Still Cares About Awakening Properly?

In the thirty-first year of the Cataclysm Era, the world lies in ruins, alien races run rampant, and humanity huddles inside eight domed cities.

In the wilderness, the survival of the fittest is the only law.

Sixteen-year-old Li Mo, whose origins are a mystery, struggles to survive amid bloodshed and strife with half a broken blade left by his adoptive father and a mysterious jade pendant.

To find his captured adoptive father and reclaim the identity token that proves his inheritance of the Desolate Sect, he enters Graystone City alone, a place where chaos and order coexist.

But in this underground black market, where human lives are worth less than grass, he is unexpectedly swept into a shocking conspiracy that threatens all of humanity.

Mutant hordes, the mysterious Nirvana Organization, alien races lurking in the shadows... Danger is everywhere.

With a body on the verge of awakening to the Half-Awakened Realm and perception far beyond ordinary people, he repeatedly turns the tables on powerful enemies at death's door.

As layer upon layer of mist is stripped away and the Desolate Sect's secret cultivation technique sees the light of day once more, a slumbering power is bound to awaken.

"The sky over Graystone City is black, so I'll cleave it open!"

From a wilderness drifter to the king of the wasteland, it all begins when he draws that short blade!
