After Becoming a Bed-Climbing Beta, a Top Alpha Won't Leave Me Alone

Overworked office drone Jiang Yu stays up late working overtime. On his way home, he steps into a void and takes a hard fall, landing straight inside a melodramatic ABO novel. The moment he opens his eyes, he's lying in the bed of Fu Yan, a top-tier Alpha. The original Jiang Yu was a lowly Beta hoping to climb the social ladder, and had thrown himself at Fu Yan while the Alpha was drugged. To protect his backside, Jiang Yu immediately launches into an all-out brawl with Fu Yan, punching and kicking, but in the end, the drugged-up Alpha pins him to the bed and “has his way with him” all night.

When he wakes up, Jiang Yu considers their one-night stand settled and done. He pulls on his pants and leaves, only to get fired from his company and receive a call from Fu Yan's assistant: “Mr. Jiang, we'd like to discuss your sugar-baby contract with Mr. Fu.” Jiang Yu: “Sugar-baby my ass! I'd rather die than be your kept man!” But when the rent comes due and his younger brother's sky-high tuition bill lands in front of him, Jiang Yu looks at the contract's seven-figure annual salary and shamefully finds himself tempted. “I'll sign, but there are three rules: If you hurt me, I'll hit back, and you can't interfere in my private life.”

Later, Fu Yan expertly dodges a pillow flying at him, catches a punch, and beams with pride. “See? I can predict your moves now!” On the day their contract expires, Fu Yan blocks the doorway, pins him against the wall with red-rimmed eyes, and says, “Sign a lifetime contract. I'll give you my life.” Jiang Yu: “...Mr. Fu, you said you'd get tired of me soon.”
