Huo Qubing in the Modern Era: Fighting Tomb Raiders

When I woke up, half a bronze dagger was embedded in my chest. The archaeology experts said it was a Han Dynasty weapon. I silently stared at the inscription “Cavalry General” on its hilt. Memories of a battlefield from two thousand years ago flooded my mind. I was Huo Qubing. When modern people study me, they always say, “Huo Qubing should be held responsible for Emperor Wu of Han's expansionist campaigns.” Then one day, at the scene of a theft involving a Han Dynasty military saber at a museum... I took down three armed criminals with my bare hands and rescued a history professor they were holding hostage. The professor asked in a trembling voice, “Who are you, really?” Wiping blood from my ring-pommeled saber, I chuckled softly. “If I had known the borders would be secure two thousand years later, would I have killed one fewer person back then?”
