Winter, 1894. The Russian Empire is teetering on the brink of collapse.

Lu Yuan opens his eyes to find himself reborn as the second prince, Mikhail. His elder brother Nikolai, a weak and incompetent man who is about to drag the empire into the abyss and get their entire family gunned down in a basement, is preparing to ascend the throne.

"If you can't protect this great realm, big brother, then I'll take the throne instead!"

On the day of the coronation, Lu Yuan launches a ruthless military coup!

He places his brother under house arrest and seizes imperial power! Then he draws his pistol in court and shoots dead twelve corrupt grand dukes who advocate compromise, staining the hall with blood!

Facing a blockade by the great powers and a country in chaos, Lu Yuan binds himself to the [Military-Industrial Hegemony System] and throws the entire nation into a furious race up the tech tree.

You're still competing to see whose cavalry can charge hardest? My tracked tank divisions and Katyusha rocket launchers are already in service!

When the island nation in the East plots a sneak attack, it runs headlong into an iron roar from the future.

When the Queen of the Empire on Which the Sun Never Sets and the German Kaiser realize in horror that the weak polar bear has become a war machine that crushes everything in its path, it is already too late.

Standing atop the Winter Palace, Lu Yuan draws his saber. "The truth is always within range of artillery! Roll right over them!"
