Sun Dasheng was born in 1981 and has an amazing talent for football. He has been playing football since he was able to walk when he was more than one year old. In 1985, his father Sun Tiezhu was killed in the May 19th Chinese Football Massacre and lost his memory. His mother abandoned him and remarried. He wandered around and met football coach Zhang Yun by chance. From then on, he learned football with Coach Zhang.
From studying in Brazil with Jian Libao in 1993 to starting his international career in 1996 and being selected for national teams at all levels, and then representing Liaoning Football Team in League B in 1997
In 1998, he helped the Liaoning team reach Class A and other experiences.
In the first half of 2000, he studied abroad with Nantes in the French Ligue 1 with Li Jinyu. He had conflicts with the coach and played four games before returning to China. He retired from the national football team after the 2019 Asian Cup. After officially retiring at the end of the year, he went to the UK to study coaching for three years and obtain an international A-level coaching certificate.
