I Lie Flat at the Infinite Company

In 2026, He Xiu, unemployed for five years, receives a text from an unknown number: Congratulations, you have passed the initial screening. Please report for work before 00:00 tonight. When he opens his eyes again, he's standing in an office tower with no exits, an employee badge pinned to his chest. Position: Unassigned. The time clock swallows people, the performance pool eats people, and Floor 404 doesn't exist, yet footsteps are always heard there. Everyone knows the Employee Handbook by heart, but no one dares mention Rule Zero. While everyone else scrambles to get ahead, He Xiu lies flat. He soon discovers that as long as he genuinely doesn't care, the rules stop working within three meters of him. A deadly attendance loop? He breaks it by slacking off. A performance-review hell? He lies flat and flips the table. But the more he lies flat, the stranger things get. The building remembers everyone who ever wanted to clock out, and the key on the back of his employee badge is undergoing some kind of change... A workplace take on rules horror: lying flat is the ultimate act of rebellion.
