President of the Yin-Yang Eye Detective Agency VS Upright and Impartial Police Captain
[Double Purity, Double Strength]
[One glimpses the obsessions of the dead, while the other pursues the truth through the law.]
Ye Jianqing is a half-baked detective who has been able to see ghosts lingering among the living since childhood. Forced to bear the regrets and grievances of countless dead people, she simply opened her own detective agency.
Her day-to-day work involves helping clients find their pets. More importantly, she helps the spirits of wealthy people finish things they couldn't get done while alive.
Well... because she's too softhearted, she can't help assisting spirits who died unnatural deaths in finding their bodies, too.
Leng Xiansheng is an upright and impartial police captain.
The first time they officially met, Ye Jianqing was scared unconscious by a snake outside the police station. Leng Xiansheng happened to see it and took her to the autopsy room.
Ye Jianqing woke up on the autopsy table: "..."
The second time they met, Ye Jianqing was in her pajamas in a hospital corridor, an IV drip in the back of her hand, watching the crowd.
The third time they met, Leng Xiansheng looked at her sleeping in a hospital bed and instinctively checked whether she was breathing.
Later, a case forced Leng Xiansheng to ask Ye Jianqing for help.
But Ye Jianqing was either watching penguins in Antarctica or stargazing in the Arctic. She was almost impossible to track down.
With no other choice, the police station had to invite her to serve as a consultant.
Leng Xiansheng never believed in ghosts and gods, until one day on a mission, Ye Jianqing was pushed from a tall building and he reached out to catch her.
But Ye Jianqing stopped two meters above the ground, floating in midair as if held up by an invisible hand.
Leng Xiansheng had no choice but to admit that there really were truths in this world beyond his sight.
