Yinshanyu is a village erased from modern maps. Every year on the fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month, the entire village holds a bizarre ritual called "Exchanging Fates." Through a livestreaming platform, they show the outside world a "death game," and the audience's tips decide who will be the next "sacrifice." The protagonist accidentally wanders into the village and becomes the "prey" in the livestream, only to discover that everyone is waiting for him to die. His death will grant every villager "eternal life."
