The Mad Crown Prince's Caged Bird Won't Behave Anymore

Mad Prince Heir x Gentle, Teasing, Sweet-on-the-Surface Schemer

Reunited after years apart | Relentless push and pull | You retreat, I advance

Back then, Liang Jichuan broke his leg at the Cen residence and caught a glimpse of Cen Yu at his most meek and submissive.

Cen Yu had delicate, smooth skin, and even the ill-tempered young master could find no fault with him.

Liang Jichuan thought he was only keeping a docile little bird for a while, enjoying the unreserved obedience in those beautiful eyes.

Once his leg healed, he dusted himself off and went back to the Liang family. Everyone returned to their proper places, and all was well.

Eight years later, Liang Jichuan had taken over the Liang family in its entirety, and the Hong Kong media hailed him as the most untouchable heir in the city's history.

Meanwhile, twenty-six-year-old Cen Yu had become the most trusted right-hand man of someone else, as well as the most presentable boyfriend in the history of Xu Yiran, a notorious Hong Kong playboy.

The lights were dim at the gathering where they met again. Cen Yu was expertly lighting Xu Yiran's cigarette with his head bowed.

In the flicker of the flame, he looked up and met Liang Jichuan's eyes, completely unguarded.

After the party, the heir, his mind washed over by alcohol, lost control and pulled Cen Yu into his arms. His thumb ground hard against the plain ring on Cen Yu's left ring finger, the one that offended him so much. He let out a laugh. "Mr. Cen, does Young Master Xu often reward you for looking so sweet and obedient?"

Cen Yu wasn't bothered. He lifted his face, eyes shimmering. "Mr. Liang, would you like me to take you home?"

He kept up his perfect "kept lover" act. The only difference was, he no longer belonged to Liang Jichuan.

As he teased the powerful man's self-control, he coolly and precisely gauged the point at which Liang Jichuan would lose control.

When the one in control becomes the one being hunted, the love of their youth becomes a carefully woven snare.
