Since time immemorial, the Nine Provinces Continent has been home to countless races. Humans dwell in the center, with seven kingdoms vying for supremacy. The barbarian tribes occupy the north, where five great clans watch hungrily. The feathered folk live in the west, their three great lineages soaring through the skies. The merfolk hold the deep seas to the east. The Kuafu rule the far northern ice fields. And the dragon clan exists in the hazy boundary between legend and reality, its existence impossible to discern. When the dragons suddenly descend from the realm of illusion and begin harvesting the souls of all races in the name of a “divine oracle,” the balance of power in the Nine Provinces is shattered forever.
