Wilds, Home and Family: Raising Big Cats in Prehistory

[Primitive World with No Transmigrators] [Adorable Child, Doted on by All] [Two-Way Awkward Co-Parenting] [Raising a Big Cat] [Childhood Friends] [Doted on by All]

Five-year-old Mu Ye was out gathering food when a startled giant bird carried her off and dropped her into a deep, freezing crevice!

The bottom of the pit was pitch-black, and she immediately ran into a playful little white tiger cub with a broken wing.

With wolves prowling above, the two little misfits could only huddle together for warmth:

Little Mu Ye used hard fruit shells to hold warm water, scraped dried meat into tiny shreds, and cooked it into a fragrant paste to feed the cub.

The little tiger couldn't roar and could only make a babyish "gaa" sound. At night, it spread its warm, fleshy wings and wrapped them tightly around her, holding her against its belly like a little furnace.

They tied branches together as a splint. They chewed charcoal and rinsed their mouths. Then the little white tiger stepped in the mud, and Mu Ye gave him his grand name: Cang Lin!

Both families risked their lives searching the mountains. When they jumped into the pit, they found their little girl scolding the tiger with a thin branch, fierce as a kitten: "Sit still! Don't grab my tail!"

After a huge misunderstanding between the two families, each set of parents took their child home.

But once back in the deep mountains, little Cang Lin rejected raw meat, snuck out in the middle of the night, and went to knock on Mu Ye's door!

From playing house in the crevice to teaming up to take down a tyrant of a giant bear, then crossing the sea to make salt and drive off water monsters...

Later, during a tsunami and storm, Mu Ye fell from a cliff. Driven by an overwhelming urge to protect her, Cang Lin transformed for the first time into a human boy and held her tight!

Years later, the stunning silver-haired, blue-eyed young man blushed and leaned toward her in front of a mural. "The world is so big, A Ye. Let's go south and see the sea!"
