After being humiliated at a birthday banquet, he awakens the Hunter King System and unlocks Golden Eyes and Wind-Listening Ears. The poor, lame hunter returns to the mountains and rises to become a celebrated hunter far and wide. The boy he once saved and the boy's father appear, exposing Wang Xiancheng's scam of claiming an enormous compensation payment for himself. Lin Qingshan leads a team into the perilous Laolongji, drives off a band of foreign treasure thieves, and protects the nation's treasures. He is named a Hero of Treasure Protection, and he and his wife begin a new life, finally holding their heads high.
