Ming Dynasty Imperial Uncle: Saving Chang Yuchun from the Start

Medical sage Ma Ye transmigrates to the second year of Hongwu in the Ming dynasty, bringing along a “Civilization Archive.”

He plans to make a little money with his medical skills, buy land, build a manor, and live the easy life of a wealthy idler.

But while making a house call, he comes across Chang Yuchun, who is on the verge of death.

With a single modern surgical procedure, Ma Ye snatches the Ming dynasty’s god of war right from the King of Hell’s grasp!

Once his fame spreads, Ma Ye is summoned to the palace to give a consultation.

The moment Empress Ma sees him, her eyes turn red. “Dear little brother, I’ve finally found you!”

Zhu Yuanzhang shields his new brother-in-law with a fierce air. “Don’t cry, little sister. From now on, anyone who dares mess with my brother-in-law will have their skin peeled off!”

Crown Prince Zhu Biao and Prince of Yan Zhu Di politely greet him. “Hello, Uncle!”

From then on, the Ming dynasty has an exceptional imperial brother-in-law who can throw his weight around wherever he goes.

To preserve his peaceful, idle life, Ma Ye is forced to launch his “Ming Dynasty Modernization Plan.”

He develops penicillin and saves the emperor’s eldest grandson, Zhu Xiongying; brings out sweet potatoes and potatoes, ending famine in the Ming; builds steel mills and manufactures firearms, creating an invincible fleet!

A few years later, the Hongwu court, once marked by suspicion and bloodshed, has gone completely off course.

Looking at the map of tributary nations paying homage, Zhu Yuanzhang clings tightly to Ma Ye. “Dear little brother, this world is so vast. Our Zhu family can’t do without you as prime minister!”
