Great Tang: At Eight, I Bomb the Turks and Rescue My Princess Mother

System + adorable kid + overseas infrastructure

In the Zhenguan era, at the time of the Treaty of the Wei River.

Li Shimin rides out of the city with six cavalrymen. Across from him are two hundred thousand Turks.

Then black smoke rises from the sea.

A red-armored girl of eight stands at the bow of a ship, a cannon slung over her shoulder. She shouts, "Hand my mother, Li Zhao, over! I'm her daughter!"

Three volleys later, only ten thousand Turks remain.

The whip falls from Li Shimin's hand. Of course he knows who Li Zhao is.

His eldest daughter was sent away for a political marriage eight years ago. On the way, a bandit kidnapped her. After she gave birth, she was captured and brought back, then placed under house arrest in the palace.

He kept her locked up for eight years.

Now her child has arrived with an ironclad warship to take her away.

Little Xizi tugs at his sleeve. "Father, that big sister is so fierce, but she gave me candy."

Later, Changle also boards that ship.
