[Battle Royale] [Eastern Cultivation] [High Martial Jianghu] [Ensemble Cast] [Infinite Flow] [Roguelike]
When Shen Congge opened his eyes, lots were being drawn in the sky.
Thirteen white lots, thirteen people. Among them were old friends who had risked their lives alongside him, as well as legends whose names he had only heard. A man in hemp robes cheerfully struck a silent gong. Welcome to the Peerless Game.
The rules are simple. Seven rounds, seven worlds. A frozen wasteland where drops of water turn to blades, a dynasty where literary talent determines life and death, a mountain where sword energy hangs over an everlasting night... Each world allows only twelve hours. When time runs out, the person at the bottom of the rankings is erased. Not killed, erased. Their name, body, soul, and place in everyone's memories are all taken away, as if they had never existed.
Thirteen become eleven, eleven become nine. Two people are lost each round, until only one remains.
No one has to kill anyone, but everyone has to outrun everyone else. Some conceal their blades and bide their time. Some make their armor into a tombstone. Some bear an entire night's worth of cold on their shoulders, just so their companions can last one more hour. Old grudges mean nothing here. Only one thing matters: are you still standing, or have they called your name?
The man in hemp robes says the winner's reward is survival.
No ascension, no immortality, no return home. Just survival, carrying scars no one else can see and remembering the twelve people the world has forgotten.
But who set up this game? At the old banquet table lying at the bottom of the river, seven of the eight sets of bowls and chopsticks are untouched. Why is one set still waiting for someone?
Of the thirteen, one must live to the end.
But no one told them: the one who lives to the end is the one who loses the most.
Although I didn't quite understand it, the author's writing skills are still very good.
