Everyone's Plot Went Off the Rails, and the Cannon-Fodder Supporting Actress Won Big

Su Xiaotang died.

She died beneath the wheels of a car.

Before closing her eyes, she was still thinking that she had lived such a miserable life. In her next life, she would definitely be rich.

When she opened her eyes again, she really had become rich: the young madam of the Ximen family, one of Beicheng's most powerful clans, and the newlywed wife of Ximen Hanyue.

But there was one problem: she was the female supporting character.

The System told her that the original author of this book had died, leaving only the beginning and ending of the outline. Everything in between was blank. The world needed an ending, and someone had to push the plot forward.

“The previous female supporting character failed her mission and was erased. You're the third.”

Su Xiaotang thought, So I'm just a tool, then?

“That's right. Your mission is to bring the male lead, Ximen Hanyue, together with the female lead, Ye Wantang, and rack up dislike points. Complete the mission, and I'll give you a second life. Fail, and you'll be erased.”

Su Xiaotang understood.

Complete the mission, then make a run for it.

What she hadn't expected was for the System to tell her that she had originally been just an extra in this world.

Su Xiaotang had thought she had lived for twenty years, with parents, friends, the frustration of working overtime until late at night, and the joy of treating herself to hotpot after payday.

So it had all been fake?

But what did it matter? Even if she was just an extra, she was still the protagonist of her own life.

Just as she figured that out and threw herself into completing her mission, things started going wrong. The male lead came after her, and she couldn't get rid of him.

When the System finally reported the results, its voice was trembling. “The m-mission has been judged a failure... But...”

“But what?”

“But you've become the female lead.”

“Will I be erased?”

“No.” The System's tone was complicated. “The established plot has been completely rewritten. You've overturned the script and become the true female lead of this world.”
